These terms are an agreement between you and Servicebook (“Servicebook,” “we,” “us”) covering your use of the Servicebook application at useservicebook.com. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
Servicebook is a tool for keeping maintenance records: equipment histories, work orders, tool custody, loaner tracking, parts inventory, and related features. It is a record-keeping tool — it does not perform maintenance, verify the accuracy of what your team enters, or replace professional judgment, inspections required by law, or licensed trades.
Don’t use Servicebook to break the law, to store or spread malicious code, to attempt to access other organizations’ data, to probe or overload the service, or to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.
Pricing, if any, is as agreed with us in writing or as published in the app at the time you subscribe. We’ll give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect.
To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
In particular: Servicebook keeps records about maintenance and safety checks, but responsibility for actually performing maintenance, inspections, and safety procedures — and for complying with codes and regulations — stays with you and your organization.
You can stop using Servicebook and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. After termination, we’ll make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deleting it.
We may update these terms; if we do, we’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify account owners. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Questions: support@useservicebook.com.
